Just newly transplanted from California. Just starting to begin our new life on our 300 acre farm (with my husband, two dogs, rescued blind calf, and goat). Lots of changes and new adventures. Hope to have some good discussions in the future!

Hi Karen! I bet your farm is amazing. When I was a kid, riding in the car across Kansas seemed like an eternity of boredom. But as an adult, I've come to see the fantastic beauty of the prairie. I hope you'll share some of your region's wild secrets with us.
(ps - My parents runs a farm animal rescue operation; their website is www.critterhavenfarmsanctuary.org. They're in Washington right now, but are in the process of transplanting their whole menagerie to Missouri!)
