The 28th Annual Ecological Farming Conference at Asilomar Conference Grounds, Pacific Grove, Calif., is one of the largest and longest running gatherings of organic farmers, marketers, activists, and sustainable consumers in the West. The opening plenary speaker is Eric Schlosser, award-winning author of Fast Food Nation. The Conference features more than 50 exciting workshops on topics such as innovative
farming techniques and sustainable food systems. Conference participants enjoy organic meals, regional farm tours, seed swapping, organic wine and beer tastings, exhibitors and special events. For information call the Ecological Farming Association at (831) 763-2111, or www.eco-farm.org.
