Posted - Nov 13 2008 : 11:42:00 AM The kids & I have just finished our persimmon picking from the one bountiful little tree that grows along our driveway. I'm planning to make something yummy that incorporates our persimmons and the few pecans we've collected. Maybe muffins to share for the holidays...

Posted - Nov 10 2008 : 4:53:35 PM We still have brussel sprouts and carrots in the garden. I have a cherry tomato in the coldframe with three little green tomatos on it but I doubt if they will ever turn red. JoAnn

Posted - Nov 10 2008 : 3:36:24 PM Well the fall harvest is pretty much over. Maybe some apples and carrots out of the garden. We have already had snow and lots of hard frosts so all the tender stuff is gone.
