The Pacific Staghorn Sculpin (Leptocottus armatus) is a common sculpin found in shallow coastal waters along the Pacific coast from Alaska to Baja California. The Pacific Staghorn Sculpin has spined horns shaped much like deer antlers on its gill covers, the antlers/horns can be moved slightly for defensive measures.
