There are elk in this corner of Washington but we've never seen or heard them from our home. A couple of days ago Jim was sitting on the deck and called for me. There were elk bugling. How neat. First for me. I teased him that maybe it was just hunter's practicing their elk calling : )JoAnn

Oooooh, that's fantastic, JoAnn! I am so in love with those animals. We're finally going to take a trip over to Buffalo River country soon & see if we can hear them. You two should do some scouting around & see if you see any sign....
