Also known and "breaking" a horse though I am trying to be more gentle than that!

My horse, Tala, just turned 3!! Happy Birthday Tala! Here's a saddle! LOL

All joking aside, we have been working on getting her used to the saddle. I have had my barn owner holding her while is get her used to my weight in the saddle.

I am hoping to get her used to being ridden and ready for some trail riding later this year. I would really like to take her up into the mountains for a ride this year.

Anyone else have horses that they take trail riding?
