Writing Contest for Youths

OWAA (Outdoor Writers of America) helps budding writers via its annual Norm Strung Youth Writing Contest. Cash scholarships are awarded to winners in grades 6-12 for poetry and prose categories. Last year’s awards totaled approximately $1,000. Thank you to Delta Waterfowl, www.deltawaterfowl.org, for partially sponsoring this contest! If you know a student who would like to enter the contest, rules can be read at http://www.owaa.org/youth_writing.htm. Eligible entries must be published during calendar year 2007.
