I am so crazy about plain old white vinegar - it's the only disinfecting product we use - as effective as bleach!

You can take vinegar and water camping with you in a small bottle. It's great for cleaning cuts out and can be used as a meat tenderizer. MaryJane mentions this in her book, not to mention is works great as a rinse agent in wash water for clothes and dishes, makes an excellent window wash, and is a great training tool for pesky pets!

vinegar is an acid sooo be careful...
I use it as a herbicide in the grove....even 5% burns my eyes.

I recently switched over to using it and baking soda to clean EVERYTHING!!! I love it and I can spray it around my 1 year old, which is cool with me.
