I am in Maine and working very hard to become completly self-sustaining. Off the grid is where I want to end up and each day get closer to realizing this dream. I am very glad to see this site, and I will certainly be back often.
Hi Birdi!!! I finally made it over too. Cant wait to hear more about your self sustaining adventures. Sure wish I could get DH to think about doing something along the same lines.
Have you read MaryJanes book yet? She has some great stories in there about self-sustaining- not to mention some great tips that might help. Hopefully the forum can help as well. I foresee us all generating a ton of ideas as we gather to chat here every day :)
