I'm creating a big new site on the Biomes of the World, for secondary
school students. I want students to be able to see what it means to
be a scientist. It's as varied as there is grains of sand. I'm trying
to compile a wide selection of scientists.

So here's the gist. The site is Biomes of the World
www.thewildclassroom.com/biomes. Each biome has links to scientists, species profiles, lesson plans and conservation efforts. Here is an example scientist profile for
the intertidal biome http://www.thewildclassroom.com/biomes/scientistprofile/intertidal.html.

If you have anyone you know that might be interested maybe you could
forward this to them.

Cheers,
Rob Nelson
