Kosher Label Beats 'All Natural' on New Food Products

"Kosher" beats "All Natural." Who knew? American consumers, it seems, who made the "Kosher" label the most popular claim found on product labels in 2007, beating out "All Natural" and "No Additives or Preservatives," according to figures from Mintel's Global New Products Database, which monitors worldwide product innovation in consumer packaged goods markets.

Jen, that just means more people eat kosher than are trying natural. Right? And doesn't kosher mean 'the way the meat is handled and prepared'? And which part of America was polled? I know it says worldwide. If I buy any hotdogs(not) I will buy buy kosher but that is the only meat in stores I go into that have kosher on anything. My daughter and son in law raise 'all natural' beef, they actually are all organic but do not want to go the the government headache of paperwork. Their ranch is family owned from the mid 1800. A way cool place. MB
