Does anyone else like the Jean M Auel books? She wrote the Earth's Children series which of course starts with "Clan of the Cave Bear".

I love the research that she puts into her book and the detailed descriptions of plants and animals. This was probably one of the first "Adult" books that truly inspired me to look to more natural ways to live.
