Hi Elizaray! We trailer camp a few times a year. We just like to get away and hang out. Hiking if we're near someplace to go. DH isnt into tent camping out in the middle of nowhere.

BackwoodsBella was the name I got on another board I belong to for cake decorating. I got it becuase we live on 6 wooded acres and we cut wood a lot :)

What a fun way to get a name! I bet you have lots of fun living on acres! Do you garden?

Hello Julie,
I'm your neighbor so to speak. What part of MD are you in? I'm in the south eastern part of NJ. Nice to have you here.

Elizaray - I love my 6 acres. Lots of wildlife. I love my trees. It's so pretty here now with the leaves turning. I'm trying to convince my husband to build us a garden for next year. I want to ba able to put food away for the winter.

Hi Mimi - I'm in Washington County WAYYY other side from NJ.

Julie- Gardens are amazing. Have you read "Animal Vegetable, Miracle" by Barbara Kingsolver? It is really inspirational.

I Highly recommend it! It will get you so inspired you will be wondering exactly how early you can start the seeds!

Are you thinking raised bed gardening or traditional in the ground gardening?

Oh another book you might want to read is "Square Foot Gardening"
